It's what we are always talking about...

So we decided we might as well blog about it. This is going to look a bit pathetic for a couple of days, as Kelly is out of town and I can't really think of anyone else to contribute to this.

Its funny, almost all conversations we have dissolve into middle school talk about Crushes and Likes and looking up pictures of guys (famous and not so famous) that we have thought about too much. This includes pictures that just caught our attention of blogs (i.e strangers), You-Tubes of favorite bands with darling faces, and looking up past crushes on Facebook, google-ing photos of those that make our hearts flutter.. (gah, so flowery).

So this begins an exercise in documenting and collecting those that are worthy of our affections.

This is the video that began the discussion...
Mainly because it's about making out and high school.

VAN SHE - "Kelly"

Right below is a picture of him that she keeps on her MySpace. I think thats the college equivalent of writing a boys name on the sole of your shoe. Yes, I used to do that.

She has quite a crush on the lead singer. I say its too bad they are from Australia, quite trashy.. but still very good looking. Also, we can't decided if she likes him solely because she does, or because in a way it seems like he's singing to her..

And this one is mine...

GRIZZLY BEAR - "Knife"
Acoustic and in Paris... *sigh* red plaid shirt... I should note that Carolina sent me the link to this video. It's done by this fantastic French blog, La Blogtheque that among other things records bands walking outside in Paris singing songs. Because I can't read French I usually just go to their you-tube account and search for new videos of fantastic bands.

This is a better picture of him from their tour blog. Kelly and I actually have somewhat similar tastes... well at least in white shirts and longish hair.

Well that ends the first post. Its quite long, maybe this is verging on a little pathetic? I dunno. Lovely pictures though aren't they? I am still questioning about putting names out there... is that too stalkerish? I've been known to google my own name. If I came upon a blog that was about Crushes I don't know whether I would be flattered or a bit alarmed. For now they will become anonymous. Maybe later we'll create profiles for them.... and then tape their faces onto dolls and pretend they can talk to us...
